Careers
Align Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned practice built around a simple idea: complex patients deserve a clinician's full attention. Physical therapists thrive in an environment where they are seen and valued as the person they are, have an excellent work/life balance, see patients one-on-one, make their own schedules, have paid continuing education opportunities, and are mentored to be experts in their field.
Our practice is a cash practice, so patients pay for their care at the time of the visit and we rarely deal with insurance companies. Our clinicians spend their time in the clinic treating patients rather than dealing with insurance companies or worrying about units. We invest in turning good PTs into recognized experts in scoliosis care.
We were founded to meet a need in the community: to provide specialized, scoliosis-specific care to patients with scoliosis who otherwise cannot get access to appropriate and life-changing treatment. Since scoliosis is a chronic condition, we follow our patients across the lifespan. This offers the opportunity to form lasting connections with our patients that would not be possible in most outpatient practices.
The work: scoliosis is a whole-body problem
Scoliosis isn't routine spine care. It is a three-dimensional change in the spine that reshapes the rib cage, pelvis, and shoulders, and it can affect breathing, balance, gait, and how a person feels in their own body. Scoliosis creates compensation patterns that lead to orthopedic issues, such as shoulder, hip, and knee pain, in addition to pain or issues in the spine, rib cage, and pelvis. Because scoliosis is a chronic condition, you are thinking about the whole patient, across their whole lifespan.
Why PTs choose Align
Challenging in a positive way
While most scoliosis curves follow specific patterns, every patient is a new biomechanics problem to solve, so you keep growing as a clinician.
Rewarding work
You make a real and measurable difference for your patients when other providers couldn't, and accompany patients through every stage of life.
Almost no insurance
All patients, including Medicare patients, pay at the time of the visit, and we are not in-network with any insurance providers.
Mentoring
Learn from expert scoliosis clinicians as you build your skills and your reputation within our practice.
Paid certification and continuing education
We pay all expenses for your Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 scoliosis certification through BSPTS, plus course fees for additional scoliosis-specific continuing education opportunities.
One-on-one care, self-directed schedule
Every visit is always one patient and one PT, and you make your own schedule—both the days of the week and what hours you work. We have a waitlist of patients in both Atlanta and Dallas ready to be evaluated.

Common questions
Do I need scoliosis training to apply?
No. We welcome strong clinicians who want to specialize, then pay for your BSPTS certification and mentor you through it.
Will I have enough patients?
Yes. We have extensive patient waitlists in both Atlanta and Dallas, so new PTs fill their schedules quickly.
Do you hire new graduates?
Not at this time. New graduates don't yet qualify to treat patients through direct access or to enroll in scoliosis certification training, so we hire licensed DPTs with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
