SERVICES

Focused On You

At Align Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient-centered care.  We treat a range of orthopaedic conditions. Given the advanced training in the Schroth Method, Align Physical Therapy is uniquely positioned to treat scoliosis, kyphosis, and back pain.

We understand that the typical physical therapy practice model does not provide the optimal environment for patients to thrive. At most practices, therapists face pressure to see multiple patients at a time in order to have sufficient reimbursement for services. That means you get divided attention from your therapist – it could take 2, 3 or even 4 visits to get a 60 full minutes of personalized, one-on-one time with your therapist.  Align Physical Therapy is different.

All Treatment Sessions are 1-on-1

At Align PT, all patient care is provided 100% one-on-one.

Pelvic Health

Many patients struggle with pelvic pain, incontinence, or other issues related to their pelvic floor which can be worsened by their scoliosis. At Align PT, we offer treatment with a practitioner with advanced training in pelvic health rehabilitation who is also Schroth trained. Pelvic health physical therapy can address pain in the sacroiliac joint (SI joint), coccyx (tailbone), hips, and/or pelvis. We often see patients for pelvic health issues who have scoliosis, but we also frequently see patients solely for pelvic health issues as well. Pelvic Health services are currently only available in Atlanta. For more information about our pelvic health program at Align PT, please click here.

Modern Practice Model

In order to see patients 100% one-on-one, we do not accept insurance. Payment is due at time of service and we provide the patient with a receipt that they may submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. (For Medicare patients, click here for more information about how your insurance is handled.)

This actually saves you time and money. For example, if you are being seen at a clinical practice following the traditional physical therapy model where the practice bills the insurance for you, that therapist will be pressured to divide time between you and other patients while you are there. They may have multiple patients scheduled at the same time as you. You may have to spend 2-4 sessions (2-4 copayments or co-insurance payments, 2-4 times taking off work or scheduling around your physical therapy appointment) to spend 60 minutes of one-on-one time with a physical therapist.  We know – we have worked in clinics just like that!

That is how we know that the traditional physical therapy practice model costs you more time and money, and does not result in the best outcomes!  That is why we started Align Physical Therapy – there is a better, more cost-effective, patient-centered way to deliver exceptional care. Come and experience the Align Physical Therapy difference.
