Why PTs join Align Physical Therapy

  • 100% one-on-one care. Physical therapy as it was intended to be. You see one patient at a time, for the full visit, with the time to assess, treat, and teach in the way complex cases require. Patients see and experience the difference in care.
  • Almost no insurance work. 75% of our patients have private insurance or no insurance, and 25% of our patients are members of Medicare. We are not in-network with any insurance provider and are a cash practice. We have no relationship with private insurance providers, so there is no need to communicate with them. No authorizations, no visit caps, and no productivity quotas.
  • We pay for your specialization. Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 scoliosis certification through BSPTS, plus continuing education and mentoring with expert clinicians.
  • Patients who stay. Scoliosis is a chronic condition, so the relationships you build last for years.
  • A national reputation. Patients travel to us from across the country, and our PTs become recognized experts in the field.
  • Control your schedule. Wide flexibility to set your own hours.

Compensation

You're paid per visit, and we pay for your Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 scoliosis certification through BSPTS. We'll walk you through the full compensation and benefits details when we talk.

What you'll do

Evaluate and treat children, adolescents, and adults with scoliosis and kyphosis using evidence-based, scoliosis-specific physical therapy and manual techniques. Address compensation patterns that contribute to other orthopedic issues and pain. Work closely with referring physicians and orthotists, and teach patients and families complex ideas in clear and simple language.

What you need

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
  • Georgia PT license, or eligibility through the PT Compact
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. We're not able to hire new graduates, because they don't yet qualify to treat patients through direct access or to enroll in scoliosis certification training.
  • Strong biomechanics, manual therapy, creativity, and clinical reasoning skills
  • The drive to specialize. Prior scoliosis training is a plus, not a requirement.

Nice to have: BSPTS C1/C2, Level 1/Level 2/Level 3, OCS, PCS, or dry needling certification.
